Brothers & Sisters,

The list of 718 glaziers looking for work is at 6% of our total active membership. If you are looking for work make sure to call the union office and be put your name on our Out-of-Work list.

If you are not working, now can be a good time to update your certifications. By 2023 it will be required that journeyman keep all certifications listed in our contract current. For that list go to:

If you do not see availability for the class you need on the STAR website make sure to contact STAR via the contact form “Contact Us” found at: https://www.dc16star.org/support/ This is the best practice to confirm the need for added certification classes.

Work is being specified in plan documents requiring AGMT certified installers along with certified contractors. The future of our industry is in our hands. Get certified! For more information, contact the STAR program or the union office for dates times and schedules of testing.

Stay well!
