2026 Apprenticeship Graduation 

A heartfelt congratulations and thank you to all of the apprentices from Glaziers Locals 1621, 718, and 169 who joined us at Scott’s Seafood in Oakland to celebrate the successful completion of your apprenticeship. This graduation is always one of my favorite events because it gives us the opportunity to recognize the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice it takes to complete the program.

As the Business Representative for Local 1621 and someone who has been a proud glazier for over 20 years, this event brings back a lot of great memories from when I completed my own apprenticeship. I remember the sense of accomplishment and excitement for what the future held, and I hope each of you feels that same pride today.

Congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone. It’s a testament to your commitment to the trade, but it’s only the beginning. I hope you all have long, safe, and successful careers, and that this achievement is just the first of many milestones to come. Welcome to the next chapter, and thank you for helping build the future of our union.
