Allocation vote
Posted May 1, 2026
Brothers and Sisters,
Local Union 1621 will be holding an allocation vote regarding our upcoming $4.50 raise on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:30 PM at the Local Union Hall located at 2149 Oakland Road, San Jose, CA 95131.
This allocation vote is one of the most important meetings we hold as a membership because it directly impacts how our negotiated increase is distributed among wages, benefits, pension, annuity, health and welfare, and other allocations that support both our current and future financial security. The decisions made during this vote will affect every member working under our agreements.
As discussed in previous meetings, our leadership has already identified required contributions that must be accounted for, including mandated pension allocations and additional support for Health and Welfare. The remaining balance of the raise will be determined by the membership through this vote. Different allocation options will be presented and explained during the meeting so members can make an informed decision before casting their vote.
We strongly encourage all members to attend, participate, ask questions, and make their voices heard. A strong turnout ensures the membership as a whole has a direct say in the future of our package and the direction of Local 1621 moving forward.
Cole Davis
Local 1621
