Don’t Forget!

Posted February 20, 2026

Greetings brothers and sisters,

I would like to start with some positive news. Enclos has begun bringing journeymen and apprentices onto the UC Davis Medical Tower project. This project experienced major delays, which slowed the need for manpower. We are hopeful that by the first week of March, manpower needs will increase by approximately 15 members.

Please remember that if a member is not called by name for dispatch, the first person on the Out-of-Work List will be sent, followed by the second, third, and so on. To keep your spot on the Out-of-Work List, you must call in on the first working day of each new month.

If you are a journeyman receiving a dispatch, it is very important to keep all certifications current. This week alone, three members were unable to return to work because their certifications had expired and needed to be updated before they could be dispatched or redispatches.

As the weather starts to improve, we expect to see more VAC events scheduled in the Sacramento area. Local 767 still has a few crab feed tickets available for March 28th  in Sacramento to support the Sacramento CLC.

Please make every effort to stay involved in your local union and attend meetings. We are also hoping to finalize Local 767’s bylaws this month. The proposed changes will be read and then sent to the IUPAT for approval.

Please be safe and look out for one another.

Safe travels,

John Tweedt
