With the Christmas season around the corner and work being slow I thought it would be a good idea to share information on local food banks in the counties under the Local 1237 jurisdiction. Please share this information with anyone who may need it. The Local Annual Christmas Meeting will be held on December 2^nd, here at the union hall starting at 6:00 pm. The Emergency Food Bank Main Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., excluding holidays. 2-1-1 San Joaquin

Door Dash Program
The EFB distributes bags of food to over 500 Stockton residents’ doorsteps every Tuesday. Contact 2-1-1 Family Resource and Referral Center to enroll (see info above).
USDA Commodities
Food and nutrition items provided by San Joaquin County are distributed at the Emergency Food Bank on the last Wednesday of each month (see Helpful Links below).

Offered to seniors 60 and older at various dining sites and by home-delivery throughout the County (Meals on Wheels, USDA Commodities and other County food services).
