Put your name on the list!

Hola hermanos y hermanas,

To start off, if you’re out of work, please make sure you put your name on the Out of Work List. This list is updated on the first working day of each month. If an employer needs seven Glaziers, the first seven names on that list will get the job. The only time we don’t use the list is if an employer asks for someone by name.

Over the weekend, we also had Executive Board Training for both new and returning officers. This training is really important because it helps everyone understand their roles better and prepares them for their responsibilities.

I’m happy to share that our first District Council Meeting will be on September 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This meeting will be held via Zoom and will be hosted at the Union Hall in Sacramento. Please do your best to attend.
