Prop 50

Hermanos y Hermanas,

Please note that you will be receiving a postcard in the mail stating the change to our monthly meeting for the month of November. It’s moved to Wednesday November 12,2025 at 6:00 p.m. 

On November 4^. Californians will vote on Prop 50 in a statewide special election and we want to stress how important it is for working people like us.

The official labor coalition argues that a “YES” helps protect our union jobs, supports infrastructure investment (think: more publicly funded construction, more trade-jobs) and defends workers’ rights from attacks.  

Si no actuamos, argumentan, podríamos enfrentarnos a funcionarios electos menos favorables a los trabajadores, menos propensos a respaldar programas de aprendizaje, salarios prevalecientes y centros de contratación sindicalizados. Nuestras voces pueden verse diluidas.  

Vote YES on Prop 50 and return your ballot by November 4
