More Groundbreaking!

Cada vez son más los proyectos que, tras años de espera, finalmente se están haciendo realidad. El repunte de la construcción es evidente al observar el horizonte de la ciudad. Con once grúas ya instaladas y en funcionamiento, 2026 se perfila como un año prometedor para el sector de la construcción. El proyecto más reciente en iniciar su construcción es el Centro de Artes Escénicas Diego Rivera en el City College de San Francisco.

Totaling $190 million dollars and 77,000 Square feet, this 3 story Art & Education Center will feature three main performance venues: a 600-seat performance hall, a 150-seat studio theater, and a 100-seat recital hall, along with various spaces for performing, practicing, teaching and studying. The project is covered under the CCSF project labor agreement which ensures the work is done by Union Workers! Local 718 & 913 recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Finishing crafts should be on the project by the end of the year.
