Glaziers Become AGMT Certified!

As the Architectural Glass & Metal Technician Certification gains traction and becomes required more on projects moving forward, don’t be left behind without this crucial certification.

To qualify for the AGMT certification you will need to have:

  • a minimum of 5 years & 7,500 working hours in the glazing trade (to be confirmed through HS&BA)
  • must at least have OSHA 10 training
  • must have a valid state issued Identification Card

What to bring:

  • Work Boots
  • Proper Work Attire

AGMT prep classes are being held every Saturday at 6:00am to 2:30pm located at the JATTF Training Center at 2020 Williams Street, Suite A San Leandro, CA 94577

The AGMT Test is available at the same location from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, July 28, 2021
  • Thursday, July 29, 2021
  • Friday, July 30, 2021
  • Saturday, July 31, 2021
  • Monday, August 2, 2021
  • Tuesday, August 3, 2021
  • Wednesday, August 4, 2021
  • Thursday, August 5, 2021

The Northern California Glass Management Association has offered grants to reimburse NCGMA contractor members who have current North American Contractor Certification (NACC) for sending up to 10 glaziers to take the Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (AGMT) test.

Please talk to your company to see if they have applied for this grant to cover wages for the AGMT Test portion of this certification.
