Update!
Posted febrero 6, 2026
Hermanos y Hermanas,
I want to begin by looking back at 2025. Enclos started the UC Davis Medical Tower project, and AGA kept working on the Kaiser Roseville project and kicked off the Capitol Annex project. Last year, we also worked on updating Local 767 Bylaws, and we’re almost done with that now.
We had a fantastic Christmas meeting with raffle prizes, and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces. We also celebrated Brother Billy Hansen’s 60 years in the glazing industry at a retirees’ luncheon, and we hosted an amazing STAR event.
Our District Council has raised the bar by our Helping Hands Program and continues to help members with mental health, suicide prevention, and addiction resources. A big thanks Bother Robert Williams (BMST) and Brother James Foster for organizing the Recovery Night event.
To start off this year, we’ll have another Recovery Night in San Jose on February 26. This event is designed for Spanish speakers, but everyone is welcome to join.
This year will be busy, and we’re waiting for the UC Davis Medical Tower to fully begin. I spoke with Enclos today, and they hope to start around the third week of February. This project will need about 25 to 30 glaziers.
Please make sure to attend your local union meetings and support our VAC program. Stay safe!
Fraternalmente,
John Tweed
