Local Upgrade!

Hermanos y Hermanas,

I want to give a big thank you to all the members who came out during the month of September to help remove wallpaper and float out the walls to get everything ready for painting. It took every weekend, but thanks to everyone’s hard work, we got it done!

We’re now getting ready to bring in one of our signatory contractors to paint the inside walls and the exterior of the building. Over the past few months, there’s been a lot going on at the Union Hall. We removed a few trees that were blocking the view to make the building more visible, and we had the parking lot slurry sealed and all the stalls freshly restriped.

By the end of October, we’re hoping the Union Hall will look like a brand-new building — something we can all be proud of.
