VAC Freeway Cleanup

The third week of the month is almost here again, and we still haven’t seen the level of participation that DC16 is known for! Our next monthly VAC Freeway Cleanup, in partnership with CBTU-NCC, will take place on Saturday, August 15th, from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM. This is a family-friendly VAC event held every third Saturday of the month. Together, we help keep Oakland beautiful by removing debris along the sides of the 880 Freeway between the High Street and 66th Avenue exits, as well as at the Damon Slough Staging Area. I’m asking for more support from our DC16 membership to help make this event even more successful. Your participation makes a difference, and I truly appreciate everyone who has volunteered and supported us in the past. Let’s show the community what DC16 is known for—unity, pride, and service! I hope to see everyone who is able to attend on August 15th.
