S\u00e9 que algunos de ustedes tienen d\u00edas libres, y quiero recordarles que deben llamar y poner su nombre en la Lista de Sin Trabajo (OWL). Hemos tenido un contratista del \u00c1rea de la Bah\u00eda buscando instaladores de pisos de madera y alfombras estiradas. Si no est\u00e1n en la lista, no podemos llamarlos para que vayan a trabajar. Si usted es un aprendiz seg\u00fan el Acuerdo Maestro de Revestimientos de Pisos del Norte de California,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWhen an Apprentice is not worked by an Employer for three (3) consecutive working<\/strong> <strong>days (project or weather delays, Holidays, DDOs, and weekend excluded), the<\/strong> <strong>Apprentice has the right to put their name on the Out-of-Work List and seek their own<\/strong> <strong>employment with other signatory Employers. When Employment is ended by the<\/strong> <strong>Employer, the Employer shall provide the JATC with a separation notice. The notice<\/strong> <strong>shall be on documents provided by the JATC.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si usted es aprendiz, nuestro organizador Edward Valencia puede asignarle trabajo bajo la modalidad DAS-142 para mantenerlo activo. A continuaci\u00f3n, se presentan las secciones 1 y 2 del Art\u00edculo 27 del Anexo de Revestimiento de Suelos de Sacramento, que dicen lo siguiente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. TRAVEL TIME:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Employees required to jobsite report more than Sixty (60) miles from the point of dispatch<\/strong> <strong>(employee\u2019s home or individual employer\u2019s shop) as determined by the individual Employer, shall receive Wages and Benefits for all time spent traveling beyond sixty (60) miles from the<\/strong> <strong>point of dispatch to the jobsite and return. Employees reporting in their private vehicles to a<\/strong> <strong>jobsite more than sixty (60) miles from the point of dispatch, shall also receive mileage at the<\/strong> <strong>current IRS rate per mile for all miles traveled outside of the sixty (60) miles (Mileage and drive<\/strong> <strong>time is to be based on Google Maps). Employees required to jobsite report more than sixty (60)<\/strong> <strong>miles from the point of dispatch (employee\u2019s home or individual employer\u2019s shop) as<\/strong> <strong>determined by the individual Employer, shall receive Wages and Benefits for all time spent<\/strong> <strong>traveling beyond sixty (60) miles from the point of dispatch to the jobsite and return.<\/strong> <strong>Employees reporting in their private vehicles to a jobsite more than fifty (50) miles from the<\/strong> <strong>point of dispatch, shall also receive mileage at the current IRS rate per mile for all miles<\/strong> <strong>traveled outside of the sixty (60) miles (Mileage and drive time is to be based on Google Maps).<\/strong> <strong>Mileage will be paid on a per vehicle basis. This system is based on employees reporting to<\/strong> <strong>their jobsite at their regular start time and working on the job until their regular quitting time.<\/strong> <strong>Travel from jobsite to jobsite in a private vehicle shall be considered as hours worked and<\/strong> <strong>mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate per mile. All travel commencing after reporting to the Employers shop to and from the jobsite will be considered as hours worked and use of the employee\u2019s vehicle will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate per mile. At no time shall the employee be allowed to transport the Employer&#8217;s material or equipment in their own vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. SUBSISTENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(a) When employees are required to live away from their personal place of residence, in<\/strong> <strong>order to report for work when and where directed by the Employer, each employee shall<\/strong> <strong>receive lodging, or an amount equal to reasonable lodging, in advance, plus subsistence<\/strong> <strong>in the amount of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day, in advance, on a separate check.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(b) Round trip airfare, mileage, or transportation shall be provided by the Employer on all<\/strong> <strong>jobs in which subsistence is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(c) Employees shall receive Travel Time, from the point of dispatch to the jobsite and<\/strong> <strong>return, on all jobs in which subsistence is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me sorprendi\u00f3 ver que muchos miembros desconoc\u00edan que la Secci\u00f3n 2-C establece que, si se perciben vi\u00e1ticos, no existe una \u00abzona libre\u00bb de 60 millas; el tiempo de viaje comienza a contar desde el momento en que se sale del taller o del domicilio (seg\u00fan desde d\u00f3nde se le asigne el trabajo).
