Titled \u201cBuilding an Affordable California Act\u201d, It was introduced by the California Chamber of Commerce, which represents developers, non-union contractors, and major corporate interests. What they say is, it is meant to Reduce bureaucratic delays, lower costs, and build infrastructure faster. In reality, it destroys any guarantee of prevailing wage, threatens long-standing labor protections by making them severable, &amp; silences workers voices by preventing them from participating in the discussion of critical projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prop 45 is an attack on our jobs, safety and our families. Anti-union corporations say this will make it cheaper to build. Sure, buy allowing them to slash wages and benefits and keep the profits. The future of the middle-class is at stake, we can\u2019t sit this one out. Talk to your coworkers, families and friends about making a plan to vote in&nbsp; this Novembers election. This is a State Wide Ballot measure so anyone that lives in California will have this on their Ballot. We Cannot let this pass!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prop 45 is a threat to our Union and every craft within the Building Trades.
