These contracts represent significant gains for our members and reflect the strength of our solidarity throughout the bargaining process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pintores<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bay Area Painters have secured a <strong>$17.00 wage and benefit package increase over the next four years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For our Sacramento Painters, negotiations with the Sacramento PDCA are currently underway. We hope to have a Sacramento Area Addendum ready for a membership vote soon. Please make every effort to attend your monthly membership meetings to receive updates on the progress of negotiations and stay informed throughout the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime, we will be sending a survey to all Painters regarding how you would like the <strong>$4.00 increase scheduled for January 2027<\/strong> to be allocated. Watch for a text message containing a link to the survey, and please take a few moments to complete it. Your input is important and will help us develop allocation options that reflect the priorities of the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Acabadoras De Paneles De Yeso<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drywall Finishers have secured a <strong>$20.00 wage and benefit package increase over the next four years<\/strong> for both the Bay Area and Sacramento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new agreement also includes important improvements to travel pay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel between <strong>65 and 139 miles<\/strong>: <strong>$150 per day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel between <strong>140 and 249 miles<\/strong>: <strong>$300 per day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anything over 250 miles will be calculated at the old travel calculation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, foreman pay has increased:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Foreman:<\/strong> 10% above the Journeyman rate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General Foreman:<\/strong> 20% above the Journeyman rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are significant improvements that recognize the leadership and responsibilities of our foremen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first increase, effective <strong>1 de julio<\/strong>, has already been allocated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>$3.61<\/strong> to Taxable Net Wage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$1.25<\/strong> to the Annuity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$0.05<\/strong> to IUPAT-FTI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$0.05<\/strong> to IUPAT-LMCI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$0.04<\/strong> to Work Preservation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fourth of July Holiday Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have also been receiving a lot of questions regarding the Fourth of July holiday weekend. For both the <strong>Pintores<\/strong> y <strong>Tapers<\/strong>, the schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Friday, July 3<\/strong> is a <strong>D\u00eda festivo<\/strong>. If you work that day, you should be paid <strong>Double Time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday, July 6<\/strong> is a <strong>Designated Day Off<\/strong>. If you work that day, you should be paid <strong>Time and One-Half<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please be sure to review your pay to ensure the proper rates are applied if you are scheduled to work on either of these days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions regarding the new agreements, wage allocations, holiday pay, or anything else related to your contract, please don&#8217;t hesitate to contact me directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to everyone who participated throughout the bargaining process.
