Painters Contract Ratification\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tentative agreement has been reached with the Paint Contractors Association. Painters will have the opportunity to give their input on ratification of the new agreement by voting on May 19.<\/sup>.  A text message with details of the proposal and voting locations has been sent out. See details below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commercial Painter proposal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. 4-year contract for $17.00 total to the Total Package: January 1, 2027 – $4.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. January 1, 2028 – $4.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. January 1, 2029 – $4.50<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. January 1, 2030 – $4.50<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Industrial & Bridge Painter proposal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. 4-year contract for $18.00 total to the Total Package: January 1, 2027 – $5.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. January 1, 2028 – $4.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. January 1, 2029 – $4.50<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. January 1, 2030 – $4.50<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Daily Parking limits are from $35 to $40 per day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Superintendents increase $1.00 per hour, and Foremen increase $0.50 per hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • DDOs increased from 7 to 8 per year, and Holidays changed and decreased from 11 to 10 per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Apprentices receive the premium pay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Shift Time and Flex Time shifts are now defined between Monday (12:01 am) and Friday (11:59 pm).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • All financial changes take effect January 1, 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Any interest or liquidated damages paid by Employer for late Vacation\/Holiday Pay and Annuity shall be allocated to the affected member\u2019s funds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If a member self-admits into a Mental Health or Substance Use Rehabilitation facility, the Employer shall maintain the position for the member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
