I hope this message finds you all well. I am pleased to announce that we will be participating in two upcoming golf events: the Veterans Event and Labor Legends. If you are interested in participating, please give me a call so I can get you placed on one of the foursomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local 767 will also be planning a lunch for Retirees in June. We have not announced the date yet, but I expect to have that information by the end of April. If you are able to attend and are not a retiree, please give me a call\u2014we would love to have you there to meet some of our fellow brothers and sisters who helped build the Sacramento skyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am also pleased to announce that we have partnered with a fiduciary investment group, Benco, which can assist members with financial needs. Benco will provide guidance on budgeting and financial investments and is set to kick off their program on May 1. Please stay tuned for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Glaziers and Apprentices will be holding a wage allocation vote at their next regular meeting in May. I am pleased to say that they will be contributing an additional seventeen cents($.17) to the Market Recovery Fund. This fund is vital in helping maintain glazing hours, which in turn contribute to pension hours and health and welfare hours. It also helps keep non-union competition in check by raising the cost of doing business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, if you are out of work, please contact me so I can assist you with any upcoming leads. It is also especially important that on the first working day of each month, you call the union hall and place your name on the out-of-work list, as this list resets monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
