We have an opportunity to help change the laws in Henderson to support Community Benefit Agreements\u2014agreements that can open the door to more public work projects for our members. This means more jobs, more hours, and more stability for our union families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve already seen the success of these agreements in California. They have helped create steady work and stronger communities. There\u2019s no reason we can\u2019t bring those same benefits here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work has been slow, and we all know the ups and downs of this trade\u2014the feast or famine rollercoaster. Community Benefit Agreements are one way we can help create more consistent opportunities and take control of our future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
