It was about standing firm, shoulder to shoulder, for something greater than ourselves: the rights and dignity of every worker we represent. As a team, we showed unity. We did what I truly believe no one else could have done under that kind of pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The council\u2019s decision not to rescind the PLA agreement was a critical win. It\u2019s proof that when we show up with unity and purpose, we move the needle. And while we\u2019re not at the finish line just yet\u2014being only one item away from securing the full protection of the PLA\u2014we\u2019re closer than ever. Now, it\u2019s time for the delegates to roll up their sleeves and work together to create a solid pathway to get across the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn\u2019t be more proud of the union representation that came out Tuesday\u2019s night. Every voice, every face, every presence made a difference.
