All the wages and benefits mean nothing if we\u2019re losing lives\u201d \u2013 Daniel Lincoln<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cBehind every statistic is a person, a family, a community.\u201d \u2013 Dr. Deb\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DC 16 is leading the way by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Breaking the stigma in construction\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing real resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoring hope to families<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Giving our members their lives back<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Construction takes a toll\u2014not just physically, but mentally. Our industry faces some of the highest rates of suicide and addiction. The pressure, long hours, and stress affect us and our families.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After losing 182 members in one year, DC16 took a stand: <strong>no more silent struggles<\/strong>. That promise led to the <strong>Helping Hand Program<\/strong>, which has already saved <strong>99 lives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the leadership of <strong>Robert Williams<\/strong> y <strong>James Boster<\/strong>, support is now available for members and their loved ones. <strong>You\u2019re not alone.
