We currently represent 11,500 Finishing Trades Professionals in Northern California &amp; Nevada and we are offering an excellent opportunity to support labor as a part of our great Union.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Excellent opportunity as part of our growing and dynamic&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Local Union Administrative Assistant\/Member Services Department&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Location<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp; Local Union 1621, 2149 Oakland Road \u2013 San Jose, CA 95131&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp; &nbsp; Local Union 272, 35 Penny Lane, Ste. 5 \u2013 Watsonville, CA 95076&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Summary of Job Duties<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administrative duties, including but not limited to, bookkeeping, clerical tasks, strong member support, analytical tasks using computers&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collate and distribute mail and mass mailings&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence to multiple Local Unions and Affiliates&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform bookkeeping, manage membership accounts&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be punctual, able to problem solve in high production times, with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in use of technology and computer software: Word, Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, Point of Sale Systems and WordPress&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer service oriented&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Great attention to detail&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organization skills&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multi-task&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to grasp new concepts quickly&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical, problem solver, positive attitude&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Iniciativa \/ proactiva&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Compensation and Schedule<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Position is covered under a Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puesto de tiempo completo de lunes a viernes de 8 a.
