Painters Ratify New Three Year Master Agreement

This past Saturday June 4, 2011, the Painters ratified a new three year Northern California Master Agreement. This new agreement is in effect from June 1, 2011-June 30, 2014. Here is a breakdown of the Journeyman wages:
Article 10-Wages:
- January 1, 2012 - $1.00 ($0.50 to Pension Rehabilitation)
- January 1, 2013 - $1.25 ($0.48 to Pension Rehabilitation)
- January 1, 2014 - $1.50 ($0.48 to Pension Rehabilitation)
The remaining changes in Language and working conditions will be posted shortly with the contract in its entirety. Congratulations to the Negotiating team, the Joint Executive board, and the members who worked very hard on this agreement.
